The Farm
At Little Ducklings on the farm, we believe children thrive when they are given the space and time to explore, play outside, and connect with the world around them. The farm offers a calm, nurturing environment where children have the space to move, imagine, explore, and grow through hands-on discovery.
Days on the farm are guided by outdoor exploration, cooperative play, and meaningful daily rhythms. Children spend time outside in all seasons, taking nature walks, creating art, participating in circle time, and engaging in hands-on experiences that encourage curiosity and confidence.
A special part of the farm experience is the opportunity to interact with animals and learn how to care for them with kindness and respect. Through these experiences, children build responsibility, empathy, and a strong connection to nature.
The farm is a place where children are encouraged to get messy, be adventurous, and enjoy the simple joy of being kids. With consistent caregivers and small group settings, families can feel confident knowing their children are supported in a warm, thoughtful environment rooted in play, connection, and trust.

A Day on the Farm
Mornings start outside. Children help check on the animals, then scatter into the day — nature walks, art at the big table, circle time, digging, building, imagining. We eat together, rest, and head back out.
Days follow a rhythm rather than a rigid schedule, so there’s always time to stop and look at the bug on the fence post.
My daughter has thrived since starting at Little Ducklings. The staff are kind and attentive. I highly recommend them for childcare.
