Little Ducklings is a family-oriented, play-based childcare and preschool serving families in Poulsbo, Silverdale, and across Kitsap County.
We believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and free to explore. Our days are built around play, imagination, and real connection — with consistent caregivers, small groups, and the kind of unhurried time that lets children grow at their own pace.
Whether your family fits best in the warmth of our Center or the wide-open days on our Farm, you’ll find the same thing at the heart of both: children who are genuinely known, and families who feel at ease.
Two places to grow
Every child is different — so we offer two distinct environments, each with full-time and part-time options.
The Center
Infants through Pre-K
Small, family-style classrooms where children feel safe, secure, and truly known. Days are shaped by play-based learning, creativity, and steady routines — with art, sensory play, outdoor time, and hands-on discovery woven throughout.
The Farm
Preschool through pre-K
Room to roam. Children spend their days outdoors in every season — caring for animals, taking nature walks, making art, and learning through hands-on discovery. A place to get messy, be adventurous, and enjoy the simple joy of being a kid.
